Generation I

Poké Ball

The Poké Ball, the most commonly used ball - 10C - 100 Poke

Great Ball

The Great Ball, has a better chance of catching wild pokemon - 12C - 300 poke

Ultra Ball

The Ultra Ball, better than Great or Pokéballs - 15C - 600 poke

Safari Ball

The Safari Ball, can only be used within Safari Zones - 10C - 500 poke (Given 30 must return all you haven't used


Generation II

Lure Ball

used to catch Pokémon found via fishing and carries a 50% higher rate of capture than a normal Poké Ball for this purpose - 15C - 150 Poke

Moon Ball

used to catch Pokemon that can only evolve through use of the Moon Stone (examples: Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Nidorina, Nidorino, and Skitty) - 15C

Friend Ball

is used to catch Pokémon as effective as a standard Poké Ball. However, Pokémon captured by this ball will bond more quickly to their trainers - 15C - 150 Poke

Love Ball

should be used on a Pokémon of the opposite gender and same species as the player's Pokémon. If these statistics are followed, then the ball is known to be 8x more effective in catching the wild pokemon than would a regular Poke Ball. If another pokemon is a different species or gender than the player's pokemon, then it will only be as affective as a normal Poke Ball - 15C - 150 Poke

Heavy Ball

one of the many Poké Balls featured in the Gold and Silver games can catch large and heavy Pokémon such as Snorlax better then a Poké Ball - 15C - 150 Poke

Fast Ball

used to catch Pokémon which run away quickly and easily such as Pokémon with the Run Away ability or Legendary Pokémon like Raikou and Entei - 15C - 150 Poke


Generation III

Premiere Ball

was created for a special event. It is entirely white except for the band around the middle which is red. According to the official Pokémon Colosseum game guide, it has the same catch rate as a regular Poké Ball - 10C - 100 Poke

Repeat Ball

is a Poké Ball used for catching Pokémon that you have caught before - 15C - 500 Poke

Timer Ball

is a type of Poké Ball used for catching Pokémon. For every ten turns that pass in a battle with a wild Pokémon, the chances of success for capturing the Pokémon increases - 15C - 500 Poke

Nest Ball

used for catching Pokémon the lower the level of the Pokémon you face, the higher the chances of capture - 15C - 500 Poke

Net Ball

used for catching Pokémon of Bug and Water Pokémon - 15C - 500 Poke

Dive Ball

used for catching Pokémon found on the sea floor. It is best used on or under water - 15C - 500 Poke

Luxary Ball

used for catching Pokémon one of the fanciest ball made, and the most expensive known. It is designed for luxury as its name suggests. While it is the same as a normal Poké Ball in terms of success rates in general, a Pokémon caught in this ball will form a bond with its trainer more quickly - 20C - 500 Poke


Generation IV

Heal Ball

is similar to a regular Poké Ball, but when you catch a Pokémon with the Heal Ball, the Pokémon's health and stats problems are completly restored - 15C - 150 poke

Quick Ball

is a Poké Ball that has a higher chance of capturing a Pokémon the earlier it is used in battle - 15C - 500 poke

Dusk Ball

a Poké Ball that has a 50% higher chance of catching if it is used at night (8pm-4am) or in a cave - 15C - 500 poke

Revives
Revival Herb - revives a fainted Pokémon and restores 3/4 HP - 700 Poke
Revive - restores fainted Pokemon and 1/2'of it's health - 10C - 400 Poke
Max Revive - Restores fainted Pokemon with full hp - 25C - 1000 Poke


Potions
Potions (restores 30hp)- Heals General Wounds - 50 Poke
Super Potion (restores 60hp)- ???
Hyper Potion (restores 200 hp)- ???
Max Potion (restores all hp)- 15C - 650 Poke
Full Restore (restores all hp and cures any status problems)- 20C - 900 Poke


Status Cures
Antidote - Cures Poison - 2C - 100 Poke
Paralyze Heal - Cures Paralysis - 2C - 100 Poke
Awakening - Awakens Sleeping Pokemon - 2C - 100 Poke

Lava Cookie - Heals poison, paralysis, sleep, burn, confusion and freeze (ONLY ONE) - 5C - 200 Poke

Dire. Hit - increases the chance of a critical hit in one match - 200 Poke
Zinc - raises special defense permanently - 2C - 200 Poke
X Attack - raises attack in one battle - 200 Poke
X Defend - raises defense in one battle - 200 Poke
X Accuracy - raises accuracy in one battle - 200 Poke
X Special - raises special attack in one battle - 200 Poke
